What is Zack's Packs

I still remember the Jansport backpack I had as middle schooler. It was not the typical pack. It was a top loader with an attached brain pocket. I carried it for years. I don't remember the name but I remember how much I loved that bag. When I got older I got a hydrastorm matrix backpack and I thought that was the coolest thing. Backpacks were a place where I could store my tools and materials. It was a my resource for making it through the day. While backpacks aren't quite a friend, they were a constant companion. They carried my schoolwork, my laptops, my gym cloths, my lunches and whatever else I needed to make it through the day.

When I got old enough to ahve adult money, I started buying more and more backpacks, looking for the prefect pack, the grail pack. The one pack that would sovle all my needs. I still haven't found it and I've come the conclusion that for my needs, I may just need to learn how to make my own packs. I started taking classes in pack making and somehow managed to sign up for a class that was about both pack making and gear repair and that is what changed me.

Fast forward a bit and now I'm in the process of learning how to make bags and also how to repair all sorts of gear. It turns out the tools for creation can also be used for modification, enhancement and repair. And you don't have to ship it across the country or over an ocean to get it fixed.
